Hi, my boiler controlled by DRAYTON LP522 time switch controller. It has 6 contacts on a back marked N L 1 2 3 4. From wall I have 3 wires coming out each has 2 wires black and red (neutral and live). Is anyone can tell me how to connect them to my DRAYTON LP522 time switch controller which has a standard special black mount plate? Thanks. Mike.

  1. without knowing where each cable goes to or comes from i wouldn't like to say. sorry i couldn't help.

  2. usualy L and N is mains in to timer then term 3 is hot water on only and term 4 is heating  on . has it not got wiring diagram on the back ?

  3. depends what boiler you have, a combi boiler will be wired in on a loop and if a conventional boiler it will have to be wired in to a junction box to correspond with twoport valves/pump and boiler and thermostat, so maybe get a heating engineer/sparky to sought it out for you or search for manufacturers instructions.
