Need help with book report!?

I have to do a book report on "The outsiders".

The instructions say:

"Design a movie poster for the book you read. Cast the major characters in the book with real actors and actresses. Include a scene from the book in the layout of the poster. Remember, you are trying to convince someone to the movie based on your book, so your writing should be persuasive and at least 5 - 7 sentences. Remember - your poster should be well done and large enough that it could hang in a movie theater to entice your customers to see your film!!"

I totally SUCK at drawing, and I don't have a working printer, so do you think I should at least use stick figure people? Please give me some ideas on what I should do.

Well thats not really something we can answer.  BUT try to remember something ur teacher said to u and if shes nice and stuff.  I cant draw at all either but my teacher said if i draw anything that looks even a tiny bit like its supposed to then full marks. I think u should try drawin the most human thing u can and if it's still hard for ya then i guess u have to go with stick figures.  BUT I SUGGEST U TRY HARD BECAUSE IT SAYS ITS SUPPOSED TO BE WELL DONE. (sorry bout the caps)

So.. I suggest u try to do something real and stick figures as a last resort.  Good luck with ur project and i hope u pass!

they actually made a movie of the outsiders..... so find some screens of that and cut out the characters or whatever. that takes care of your drawing problem, i think.

Most libraries have a printer you could use for a small fee. If your library doesn't have that, go to the store and buy some magazines-Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, US Weekly, People, etc...find actors and actresses in the magazines you could use as characters in your poster and cut them out! Make the poster a cool collage.
