Need help with burning cds?

Question

ok everytime i burn the cd,none of the cd players in the house play them.only my computer.i have tried three different formats (mp3,wav,and the windows media file) and still nothing.but when i had mp3 format it said i had one track but wouldent play.wen i had the other too it said no tracks is there somthing im doing wrong?i am using windows media player to burn the cds and the cds im using is memorex rewindable.should i install nero instead?

check the settings u might have it set on data cd not audio

if u r using WMP 11 hit the drop down arrow on the burn tab a make sure the radio button is clicked next to audio cd

Look at the CDs you are burning--he actual disks you purchased. Are they Audio or music CDs? It shoulds like you might be purchasing data CDs and those will only paly in your computer. I had problems with this at one time. .
