Need help with car audio system???

Question

I recently bought a complete system in my 84 corvette. Yesterday i had to unhook the battery for something, so i unhooked the neg post. when i hooked it back up my rear speakers and sub arent working. the amps power light is on. ive checked all connections and the sub level and fade and balance on the receiver. im stumped. please help

sounds like a blown fuse, but is your sound system stock or aftermarket?, in a 84 vette there are 4 amps in the stock system, one right at each speaker(bose)....but I'd start checking fuses and get back to me with more info about what you got in there and I'll help.
