solid cupric sulfide is warmed with 6 N nitric acid.

or / and

a 50 milliliter sample of .10 M hydrochloric acid is added slowly with stirring to a 50 ml sample of .10 M sodium corbonate solution?

    3 CuS & 8 HNO3 -->3 Cu(NO3)2 & 2 NO  & 4 H2O & 3 S

    a 50 milliliter sample of .10 M hydrochloric acid is added slowly with stirring to a 50 ml sample of .10 M sodium corbonate solution?

    it would be nice if it:

    HCl  & Na2CO3 -->  NaHCO3  & NaCl
