  1. Your best bet would probably be the Yamaha 250f. Its going to be the easiest for you to ride and get used to when you switch from that Honda trail bike. A 450 would be too big of a power jump from the 230F and I personally think that the Yamaha handles better than a Honda, stock. And unfortunately the 2-stroke age is coming to a close so I would shy away from the 125, and stay away from a KTM because parts will cost you much more.

  2. go with the Honda, there is a reason the have  been winning Transworld Motocross Mags Bike of the Year for the past few years, they are great bikes, i have a 250 and i love it.  I haven't yet ever had a problem with it,  i wouldn't go with the two stroke considering you have been riding a four for the past few years, two stokes are like a completely different machine,  So happy trails, and i hope you get the bike you want

  3. dont be a smartass in ur answer to my question

  4. get the crf250 there really good i have one and i love it

  5. I think that you would be wise to go for a 4 stroke 250cc.  Either brand would be good and certainly a good stepping stone to a bigger bike, but for now the 250cc would be good and I don't think at 16 you should go larger.

  6. The 450's do not do well on the trails and it will be way too much of a bike for you even on the track. I also would stay away from the 125 2 stroke. The 125 will suck out loud for trail riding and be at a big disadvantage on the track compared to a 250F. I race a CRF250R myself but any of the 250F's would be great. If I were buying one this year it would be the KX-F. It has the best low power of the bunch which would be a big plus both on the trails and on the track for someone new to motocross. It is the 250F to beat this year. If you are only interested in the ones listed get either the CRF250R or the YZ250F, both are incredible bikes.
