A 10" diameter saw blade has 60 teeth. How far apart are the teeth on the circumference of the blade?

  1. If the diameter of the saw blade is 10" , then the circumference is 10*pi*inches

    10*pi*inches / number of saw blade teeth = distance between each tooth of blade

    10*pi*inches / 60 = pi*inches / 6

    pi / 6 inches in between each tooth of the saw blade.
