will a ati radeon hd 4800 series fit a hp computer. my series is pavilion a1330n. also just to make sure will most graphics card fit any computer

  1. That really depends. You need to open up your computer and check if your computer has a PCI slot, AGP slot, or PCI-e slot.

    The answer to your second question is no. See: what I wrote above.

Here is some helpful info.  My 4870 is 10.5" long from the back of the case at the slot opening to the power connectors on the end.  I have a Thermaltake Argua Full Tower that the 4870 barely fits in, that was a $130 case.  I bought a mid tower case from newegg that has 2 120mm fans in and was only $60 and the 4870 clears everything with no problems.  So as you can see it is all in the measuring before buying...

    Measure from your openings at the PCIEx16 card  slot at the back of your case and come across to your hard drive bays and if you have 10.5 or more then you are ok, if not the 4000 series isn't for you...  4850 and 4870 are the same size.
