Hi there,

My cat has been treated for fleas with frontline but the house is now over run with them! I see them everywhere, on cushions, toys, my kids.....

I have recently bought some spray stuff from johnsons (house flea spray) but it says I spray EVERYWHERE, all surfaces??? really?? worktops....toy boxes, everything? I have three children and I don't want to poison them, the fish or the cat!!

Anyone got any advice. Do I have to clean out everywhere, like under beds, clothes that have not been covered upstairs, curtains etc?? If I had to do that, then I think I would be there forever!

Please someone tell me I can get rid of the blighters.

Thanks in advance everyone :)

Sharon

  1. Once I got rid of the fleas on my cats, I 'bombed' the house with a flea bomb fogger.  Look for a product that will kill both the fleas and their eggs. The link is one such product, but there are others.

The fogger penetrates all areas of concern, and does the job.  If you try a spray, it will only work where sprayed.

  2. theyre problably a different kind of flea

a ground flea, they are common in homes that have paper lyiong around, or really any house. get the carpets cleaned and have a claening day to de-bug the house.

get a parasite person to rid you of your pesky bugs

  3. Yes, you have to spray everywhere, especially in the dark places like toy boxes, behind doors, under furniture, etc.  Fleas also like fabrics so curtains, upholstery, stuffed toys (can be washed in hot cycle of washer). Good luck
