I recently upgraded from Vista to XP. Yes I said upgraded. I have a Toshiba P105-S6177. Unfortunately Toshiba only offers Vista drivers for this computer. I can't for the life of me find any drivers that work. I only need 2 more drivers I found the rest. I need drivers for my sound card which is Conexant HD audio and im missing a driver for a PCI device whatever that is. Anyone able to help? If it helps my chipset is Intel 945gm

  2. sadly many manufacturers don't release XP drivers for newer hardware, if the driver is available you should be able to get the PCI device from the Intel website, as for the audio, it's going to be hit and miss, check driverguide.com they have some good forums, also make sure you have the latest version of windows update, go to device manager and right click on one of the devices and try to update the drive from there, allow it to go online and use windows update, this is pretty good since the later version has been released. As a final resort check the name of the vista driver and look for a similar xp equivilant, you mention conexant HD audio, but there are lots of these, the actual vista name of the driver might help you to be more specific with your search.
