My parents are moving to Ireland for two years and this is a pretty drastic seperation for us. My mom is making me a scrapbook this time, she made me a quilt when I left for college. She asked that I make her something too, something from the heart. I have one month and I'm not super talented but it's really important to me. It also has to pack well. I would be willing to pay money to something really special made too. Any ideas for the perfect going away gift? Please contribute, the more suggestions, the more likely the perfect idea will strike.

  1. You can buy one of those digital photo albums that holds a large amount of pics.

  2. HOW ABOUT YOU IN A VIDEO SINGING THERE FAVORITE SONG.

  3. you could make her a cd if songs that would remind her of you

you could make a video or a powerpoint of pictures or bits of videos put together...you could even have yourself talking and saying meaningful things on it.  (you could get a cd or a video professionally made too)

if she doesn't have an ipod you could buy her one, put some of her fave songs on and engrave it with something special..and put songs that could relate to you and your mom

i thinks less is more and if you can make it nice and relate it to your lives then you'll be fine..i hope i gave you some ideas=]

  4. buy a nice locket and put your picture now and your picture as a baby in it.
