  1. Yea, hungry crayfish are known to do that.  They will eat small fish like a goldfish, minnow, or ur tailfighter is they get their claws on them and they're hungry enough...

  2. Ive not got crayfish but I do have an aquarium. I have lost fish before and searched ages to find that they must have been attacked and part eaten as half of the body has turned up when I clean them out (usually under the air pump of near the filter). Try giving them a good clean out as this is the only way you will be able to search for it properly. Do you have sand or gravel in your tank as it is easy for it to be buried in sand if it has died, this would be unlikely if you have gravel. Hope you find it and good luck!

  3. Have you got a cat?

  4. Sorry to say but probs...

You should ask before you buy if your fish will be okwith the others..

  5. i realy think it did.

  6. um yeah your crayfish probably ate him

but just to be sure take apart your whole tank and make sure he's not like inside one of your decorations or something...

"They prefer foods like shrimp pellets or various vegetables but will also eat tropical fish food, regular fish food, algae wafers, and even small fish that can be captured by their claws, such as goldfish or minnows. Their disposition towards eating almost anything will also cause them to consume most aquarium plants in a fish tank.

At night, some fish become less energetic and settle to the bottom. The crayfish might see this as a chance for an easy meal, or a threat, and injure or kill the fish with its claws.

Crayfish are effective scavengers and will consume fish carcasses. They sometimes will consume an exoskeleton after it is molted.

Because of their very small size of 1.5 inches or less, some fish, such as loaches are often a threat to the crayfish rather than the other way around."

  7. hey may have gotten eaten

  8. It could have died and the bottom feeders would have eaten it.
