Need help with high school valedictorean speech!?

Question

I am in desperate need for help with my speech. i usually am good with these things but am drawing a blank. I need to write a 2-3 minute speech for graduation.

I have this quote that i'm planning on opening with:

i really like this quote, but i dont know where to go from here. any ideas? i want to keep with the theme of the quote on keep moving forward and never giving up.

if i read the question correctly, you want to use the disney quote, right? and you're looking for ways to adapt it to graduation?

i think you should start out by pointing out that though disney was speaking about disneyworld(i think?) the quote is adaptable to many other areas in life

you could talk about how the quote relates to high school (class schedules, extracurriculars, driving and personal responsibitly)

then you can talk about how you will all move on from high school and let your curiousity and interests and strengths guide you. and that even though you may look back, you have to choose to look forward and create a future for yourseves.
