  1. Since it is impossible to determine what you are actually doing with your swing without being able to see it, I'd advise a trip to your local teaching pro to correct whatever swing flaws you have fallen into.  There are just too many possibilities to go into in a forum such as this.

  2. There are generally two common cause of fading the ball.  1) having you club face open at impact 2) hitting ball with a swing that starts outside of where you are aiming and ends up inside.

If it is a sever fade it is mostly problem one, you are opening club face at impact.  To correct this make sure you not hitting a very wristy shot. Then you change your grip by taking your non-dominate hand and rotate it out slightly (clockwise if you are righty, anti-clockwise if your a lefty). This modified grip will make it almost impossible to open up you club face during your swing.  A PGA pro taught me that trick when i had the same problem.

Good luck practise hard, and relax, a relaxed swing will fix many problems.

  3. Did you have a fade before (a month ago)?  If you were hitting fairly straight before and now starting to fade every shot, I would take a look at your swing plane.

Most people over look this, but if you were hitting well before, didn't change your grip, stance...etc, then take a look at the top of your backswing. You are probably swinging to vertical, either because you are bending over the ball more than before, or just swinging to upright.  Try taking your clubs more away and behind you then having the feel of the clubs being over your head.  This way the club will swing down more from behind than over the top.

A good check would be to put a towel under your right armpit (for right hand golfer), take a back swing.  if the towel falls before you reach the top of your swing, you are swinging to upright.   On your downswing, get the right elbow to tuck down first before uncoiling your body...this will encourage the club head to stay more behind and around your body.

  4. probably just your swing path.  Try swinging more inside and up.

  5. Your hands are open at impact. A good drill to do on the range to fix this problem is tee up each shot, use a 6 or 7 iron and do half swings making sure you turn your wrist over at impact, hit ten shots like this then hit a couple of full shots. Good Luck.

    Have a good one...
