Hello! Ok here is my situation. I have been dilated 2 cm and 75% effaced for about a week or two now.. I've been having constant back pain for weeks and now i get sharp pains almost like I'm starting my period/ I have to go number 2.. Its been getting worse everyday and today I have already had 2 pretty loose stools after feeling that crampy feeling and I have only been up for about 3 hours. So that is more than normal.. I've actually been kind of constipated the last few days.. but anyways, I am just wondering, with these cramps and BMs could labor be soon? I'm due in 15 days so I'm hoping maybe my little man is coming early.. Any opinions or experiences you guys have had that you can relate to? I'm just wondering what is going on. I just don't feel right today.. :-(

Oh also the pains I have are irregular and not really anything that can be timed, just annoying. Everytime I think they are starting to get regular, they quit..

  1. Sounds just like how I was with my first.  I was 3cm 60% effaced and at +2 station.  I was expected to go any minute.  I stayed that way for two more weeks until I had to be induced due to preeclampsia.  All you can do still is just wait.  Most of those pregnancy aches and pains you are describing and just regular pregnancy pains.  Make sure you have your bags packed and the car seat in the car.  Do some squats, walking, and if your up to it have s*x.  Also start preparing thsoe frozen meals.

  2. You can stay that way for days! Even though they are irregular keep track of them! It really sounds like you are in early labor, that was happening to me for about a week. I went in to Labor and Delivery like three times and they sent me home!!!

Well good luck on your new arrival!

  3. Sounds how I felt...

do squats.  I say it to everyone who wants to speed up labor and have gotten great results with friends and myself!!  Really wide legged, low to the ground squats!!

If the pains get more intense go in, Im guessing your in the first stage of labor (can last days)

  4. I think you could possibly go into labor soon. But some people go untill their due date and some past the due date with those same symptoms!! I was 75% effaced and 3 centimeters dilated and they still had to induce mylabor! I went the whole 40 weeks which is actually ten months. So its kinda hard to tell when exactly you will have your little man! But i think you are close! But the real contractions no matter how apart they are will make you wanna die!! You wil barely be able to walk! Trust me! Hope this helps!
