Could someone please give me some tips on how i would be able to loose 2kgs in a period of 2weeks. I currently weigh 48kg and i need to be 46kg in order to fight in a boxing match. I am 5ft 7inches tall (if that helps).

  1. i have some advice, although its not so much advice.  Spend a lot of time skipping.  Yeah thats right, skipping, h**l of a good cardio work out good for stamina AND weight loss.

Depending on how far the gap is between the weigh in and the match you COULD (i advise against it in a health related manner) go without fluids for 24h, a lot of bodybuilders do this also, basically you drink 2l of water a day (recommended) skip that out for the day thats your 2kg lose from fluid weight.  BUT if your fight is right after the weigh in this will be very detrimental, you'd want a minimum of half a day after the weigh in.

  2. its not mma. there is really no advantage of cutting weight for boxing. the lighter guy who has more energy has the advantage.

go up a weight if ur competing and good luck
