Need help with making a skateboard video

Question

i am going to start video taping my friends skateboarding..and i need a few pointers for making a good skating video

but i need someone to start from scratch, like that type of camera will do what types will not, i need angles, music everything..assume i know nothing, because i dont know anything.

so please start from scratch and tell me how to edit them or what to download or buy or something. i especially need help with the editing part i dont even know where or how to begin or if theres programs envolved

if you have a mac then it should come with a program called imovie really easy for editing.  if you have windows then windows movie maker is alright i guess.  a lot of my guy friends are obsessing with this one camera- Sony's VX1000- the VX2000 is really good too. hopefully this helps- oh and theres tutorials on how to use the editing software n shitttt
