Need help with mother's Day?

I am looking for a good restauraunt for breakfast/brunch on mothers day. i live in spring grove illinois and was looking for somewhere around there like in mchenry,crystal lake or somewhere around there. please give me the restauraunts link and if u have eaten there please let me know how it was. also does anybody know of any good websites to buy mother's day gifts on short notice that are a decent price or any websites that will deliver flowers or chocolates on short notice please give me the link. thank u very much.

To be honest with you - we learned the hard way that you don't celebrate it on Mother's Day.  We have gone out to breakfast, brunch and dinner over the years only to be disappointed in the meals, prices which have been raised just for the occassion,  and crowds.  I am a mom - and I don't mind celebrating the day before.  (I live in a Western Chicago suburb.)   However, you might try golf courses or country clubs - they;re prices are usually lower I have found.

But seriously, how much food can one eat for $24.95 - 30.00 per person?
