Need help with my HD/DVR box?

Question

When I'm on the smaller channels and I have it set to 1080i the picture is small on the screen, but the HD channels are full screen.

So to watch the smaller channels full screen I have to have it on 480i, but then the HD channels are smaller.

How can I make them all work the same?

that's one of the hang-ups with HD boxes.  you'll have to deal with it.

do you have hdmi cables? your tv automatically recognizes those resolutions. you have to go to your tv settings and set them to auto so that your tv automatically changes it for you. you may also have to go to your dvr box settings to change the settings to auto.
