Need help with my financial aid appeal letter?

Basically, i need to write a letter to appeal my current financial aid. In the coming fall, i will be enroll in college as a freshman. The problem is when i applied for FAFSA in the beginning of the year, my family's income was in the highest peak, however, the income dropped after my mother was unemployed in December 2007. Beside my sister got accepted to nursing school in the next coming year, which cause an extremely financial burden to the family. I am hoping to have an appeal so that the finance aid could increase my current amount. It would be extremely helpful if someone could show me the format of the appeal letter.

I'm not sure about an appeal letter. You can however go back to the FAFSA website and do a correction to the information. They might ask for some documentation but that's usually what I have done in the past. Also update the info with your school hope this helps.
