i don't understand how to solve this inequality

its 4<2(1-3x)<10

also how to graph this inequality

-2x + 3y > 6

Pretend the inequalities are equal signs.  What you do to one side you must do to the other.  If you divide the inequality by a negative number, the inequality signs flip.

4&lt;2(1-3x)&lt;10     divide by 2

2 &lt; (1 - 3x) &lt; 10   subtract 1

1&lt;-3x&lt; 9     divide by -3

(-1/3)&gt; x &gt;-3

So x is a negative number between - 1/3  and -3.

-2x + 3y &gt; 6  divide by 3

(-2/3)x + y &gt; 2
