i noticed today that my 1 year old sulcata Willow has anal blockage. Im not sure if that is its a**s or not but it is blocked, directly under the tail. Willow is having trouble passing stool and i need to know if this is something i can fix on my own or not. There is a light colored something blocking the a**s and im not sure if that is something to be removed or if it intestine or something i shouldn't be touching. the 'sac' under the tail is really swollen but she doesn't seem to be in pain. ive been feeding Willow mostly romaine lettuce and dandelion leaves. anyone have any suggestions on how to take care of this? i really appreciate it. thanks everyone

  1. This could be a partial prolapse.  I wouldn't wait to see the vet.  She could also be egg-bound or have parasites or a foreign body.  Her diet is really not balanced at all.  Here are some care sites:

  2. Sulcatas do not do well on that diet- it is way too 'wet' for it and can cause digestive problems.

Try http://www.sulcata-station.org for good diet items.
