  1. if you have just the phone you need a PBX. the PBX or switch will have it setup that way. since you have the phone. only look online at cisco.com they can help you find a company in your area to get the PBX.

  2. i have no idea

  3. That is an IP phone.  It will not work "directly connected" to PSTN telephone network and requires connection to a server managed IP VoIP network.

Apparently it is possible to convert it for SIP VoIP compatible service:

  5. The Cisco phone is an IP phone that has to be on an Ethernet network and has to be controlled by an IP PBX.  Further, you need an Voice IP Gateway to translate the analog Public Phone feed to IP for the IP PBX.  An IP PBX with an auto attendant feature will then provide what you are asking for.

The others on the phone circuit will also need IP Phones compatible to your IP PBX.

For only a few users, you may find the IP phone option fairly costly and that a conventional phone system with auto attendant more suitable.

  6. ummm no those kind of phones cost alot and plus u need to contact ur phone company to see if they have this feature
