Need help with paper conclusion?

so here's what i have so far:

Together, these statements show the feelings of the speaker towards the Inspector. The narrator regards him as an old man, uncaring and unemotional, but dedicated to his work. It seems that he praises the Head of the Custom House’s skills at doing his job so proficiently, and is content with the fact that his heartlessness does not bother him.

I just need the last sentence, if you WANT to do it for me, go ahead, but that's not what i'm asking for, just what you think I should say, or any tips you have.

The paper is an analysis of the narrator's feeling towards the father of the custom house in The Custom House, the introductory to the scarlet letter.

Does it really need another sentence?  I think it sounds alright the way it is.

You are lacking a "tie-up"--you know, the thing that sums everything up? Sadly, I have not read the text to be able to really give you an idea of the direction that you should head, but I can tell you that you should restate your thesis. And, sum-up whatever it is that you were arguing.

Good luck. And, congrats on NOT asking for someone to do the work for you. If I were your english teacher i would be extremely proud. I hope my students do the same. =)
