Question:

Need help with passport situation?

Okay I gotta come up here and ask because I don't know where I can get a number to get help. We (me n kids) applied for our no-fee passports 2 1/2 weeks ago, and on Monday the passport office received the package with only my passport in it, and accompanied by a letter that says my hubby needs to do up a new consent form for all of them because one of the forms had him signed 2 days prior to it being notarized. Does this make sense? I thought the notary has to witness you signing any document before they sign and notarize it. Can someone give me a number of a person I can contact at passport office so I can get things moving along? Any help I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

  1. OK the best place to go call to get information is the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778 (TTY/TDD 1-888-874-7793) They have a great deal of information as well as live operators from 8 AM to 10PM. Do not fear social engineering your way to an answer!
