  1. She still is young so an occasional accident will happen. The best way to get them completely housetrained while you're home, is to limit the amount of rooms and area they have access too. This way you can see where she's at always and will be able to read her easier. What you can do is get a bell and tie a string to it and leave it on the doorknob. Everytime you take her out, ring the bell and praise her. After a while, let her ring the bell and give her a treat or extra praise. She then will learn that when she has to go outside to ring the bell. It does take a lot of time and patience but it works. Unfortunately, some dogs won't let you know they have to go out. Some will stare at you or "annoy" you when they have to go, some will bark, or some will be at the door. Good luck though. I think you're doing good so far and it won't be long until she's completely housebroken.

  2. Have you done anything to train your dog?  Have you made any effort to learn how to train a dog? If not, you ought to read a couple of books about keeping and training a dog. It will help you feel more comfortable about having a dog, and it will be beneficial to your dog as well.

  3. Having her in the most scheduled routine will help.  CRATE TRAINING is the best way to teach the dog...they should sleep in the crate at night and the crate should not be too large for them...they will not defecate where they sleep unless they can sleep in the other corner.  As soon as you wake up, the dog is your responsibility to let out and praise once they go outdoors...if they do not go potty outside, they should not be let to run around the house, put them back in the crate and try again in a few minutes until they go...then let them have "play" time in the home...set an egg timer as a 3 month old does NOT have the bladder control that an adult dog does and it will take TIME TIME TIME to get it down...

BE PATIENT~we see a lot of people give up on this breed because they are not patient...they are a very SMART yet STUBBORN breed and need focused attention DAILY to be a GREAT DOG!

Don'tt forget to spay/neuter...there are too many dogs getting euthanized for not having a home!!!
