  1. Ecology is not a study of type of organisms. It studies how or what those organisms play a part in that part of ecosystem it lives in. To answer this question, I would say A LOT of types of organisms are studied in the field of Ecology, from big animals to decomposers.

The kind of education depends on what he kind of study he does about ecology (there are a lot of different types you know), but it won't hurt him when he can do whatever he wants by getting bachelors and still decides to get PhD.

I don't know what courses, but they need to take at least basic biology and they get into specific ares like Ecology only in their graduate schools. Depends...

What universities offer degrees? Oh c**p... There are A LOT! The list is too big.

What do you mean by "what type of jobs"? Each different job in Ecology has different payment and stuff.

Salary varies. Around $30,000 to however high it goes (like if you're an owner of ecology company or whatever you call it then you know....)

Study of ecosystems, how stuff like global warming affects it, etc. A lot!

Don't really know the last two. This question takes too much research and too long for ANYONE to attempt to answer at its full! I did my best.

    Hope it helped!
