Need help with putting movies on iPod...?

Question

I am trying to get my DVDs onto an iPod. I have heard you can go to websites like versiontracker.com and handbrake.com and turn your DVDs into MP4s and transfer them onto you iPod. I am a little skeptical about this, and I am not very technologically savvy.. could someone please tell me what program to download and how to convert the movies? Please explain in detail... step-by-step would help too. Thanks!

iPod can only support mpeg4 video. iPod only accepts MP4 video format, and if you want get the movies from a DVD, you need a DVD Converter software.

you can only do thi son certain ipods, and it akes up A LOT of room, i don't think ti's worth it
