Need help with research project.?

This may sound a little weird, but...I'm doing a project on leeches, and I was wondering if anybody could tell me which lakes near Burnsville, MN would have leeches in them. It would have to have a public area, so i could enter the lake. I need to be able to study them where they are. If you know more than one lake that has leeches near (or, preferably in) Burnsville, please indicate which ones have a larger population than others, if possible. I'm sure this question isn't asked very often, so thanks in advance for any information you can tell me.

Most bodies of freshwater have leeches during the summer, you'd probably be able to find some no matter where you go but some place with some water plants would most likely have more than a place without any.
