Need help with sky +?

hi i have a normal sky box with a sky subscription could i buy a sky + box of ebay for half the price of sky (rip off merchants )and it work the same ??????

The answer is Yes, however you will have no warranty on the product you buy from eBay, when you change the box over you will get a message which says wrong card for set top box on on movies and sports, a quick call to sky will sort that out though

p.s . Sky don't care where you buy your box from they make their money on subscriptions.

It will work the same as your existing box, but to record /replay subscription channels on a genuine Sky+ box, you need to have the Sky+ subscription which I believe is £10 per month.  Remember that the connected phone line not only gives you pay per view and interactive services but also reports information back to Sky.
