Need help with some verses?

Hey guys, I am trying to encourage my mom lately, she is upset with some things, and I just wanted some verses that could help her feel better, also for another thing, what is that verse, its like If we can handle the small stuff, God will give us more? I am having a blank moment, also can you include there refernces? Thanks so much!!

the verse that you are looking for is Matthew 25:14-30 but there is also the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-10.
