Question

i have a 10gallon tank that is ready for fish, i want a pair of breeders, what fish should i get, how many of them, what food to give, and taking care of babies?!?!?!!??!?!

I would get guppies 1 male and 3 or 4 females. Guppies can bare young about every month. If you want to keep all of the young you are going to have to get a breeder net. I&#039;ve gotten one before from wal mart it was maybe 4 dollars. You have to constantly watch the female guppies for signs of impending birth. They will usually push their belly off of the rocks at the bottom of the tank. when this starts to happen catch the fish with a net carefully, put her into a small glass and as she has the babies take them out and put them into a separate glass. These glasses should be filled w/ water from the tank. After you have all the babies in the glass put them into the breeder net that will be attached to the side of the tank and watch them grow. Put them into the tank when they are about 1/2 in big or so. feed them flakes just like the rest of the fish in the tank. I sugesst u only do this once, unless u want to buy a bigger tank.

With a 10 gallon tank you can keep either guppies or platys. Whichever you choose you should be sure to get 1 male and 2 or 3 females. Live bearing fish breed very easily so it won&#039;t be long before your 10 gallon tank wont be big enough for all the fry.

You should feed your fish flakes and freeze dries blood worms. Live bearing fish love blood worms. When you have fry you can feed them crushed flakes.

When th fry are about ready to be born you should either place the mother in a breeding trap or provide plenty of hiding places in your tank. The mothers tend to try to eat their babies shortly after birth.

Breeding fish can be very fun

you should get some fancy tailed guppies or mollies

get one male and to females      (on both)

tropical fish food works best

put food in ziplock bag and smash it for babies put them in there own tank until they are an inch big or have alot of plants

ok well i would get 2 female and 1 male molly there are several difrent kinds of mollies (i like dalmation mollies) they LOVE mating! and the females will be pregnant almost 24-7 so be ready. get a five gallon tank no filter or a sponge filter with a teeny tiny current for the babies when they are born they give live birth. all the fish will eat the babies so get them out asap. dont get a net breeder it stresses the females. the first birht will be about 5-15 babies and the second 15-100 an onb and on and on blah blah you know! there will be alot of babies so when the babies are born you want to feed them crushed up (till powder) tropical fish flakes or baby brine shrimp every 4 hours if yuo can. yuo will loose alot of babies, 25% of them will die. you are gunna need to sell the babies when they get big enough to eat normal fish food. orif you have a bathtub you dont use yuo can fill that up half way and use that for the babies dont put  gravel or sand in with the babies leave it bare but put in a ton of plants! get water condtioner and tons of food!!!!!!!!!!  if yuo have any qy=uestion please please please email me at [e-mail]
