my brother scratched up my camera pretty bad. I took off the outside part of it tonight (the plastic part) and i wanna know if i could buy a different outter piece to it.

it's a cyber-shot and i got it a wal-mart

  1. If only the frame is scratched and not the lens, the performance of the camera will not be affected, so you don't need to change it...But you could probably send it for repairs or ask the manufacturer of the camera whether you could buy a frame by itself


  2. Write the manufacturer or call them. I'm sure they sell replacement parts for the camera. If not check Ebay or something.

    Well you could ring up where u bought it and see if they can order parts for you.

    If u hav a warranty for ur camera still u can get it fixed.

    OR u can contact the brand of your camera and ask if they have any parts or can help u in anyway

  5. Probably not.  

    Digital cameras are often made to be almost disposable these days.

    The scratches shouldn't make a difference to the picture quality though.

    You should see some of my cameras—I'm a professional photographer and many of mine have been smashed around pretty badly, once even stomped on by a Japanese Yakuza.  It still works perfectly and the scratches and dents make it all the cooler.
