Need help with tournament stuff, look at the details?

Question

Okay so i live in new york and i know that it helps a lot to enter golf tournaments and things and it goes onto some scoreboard but I have been looking for tournaments and I cant find any

if you can find any in the metropolitan area with a link or something and make sure you dont have to be a member of something

Try a web search for Amateur Golf Associations, NY. Try the USGA website as well. Call a local public course that's popular and ask about associations and tournaments,. Call Bethpage , it's a New York State property.
