Question:

Need help with wedding ceremony music?

I am having a beach wedding ceremony in OCtober, and need some help thinking of songs for the ceremony (processional, my entrance recessional). So far, my ideas are:

Bob Marley - Is this love

Peter Gabriel - In your eyes

Adam Sandler - Wanna Grow Old with You

As you can tell, I don't want the typical music, and I want something lighthearted and fun, with some meaning. I don't want the typical Celine Dion or something. Any ideas?

  1. Here are a few songs that you might like:

    Processional:

    At Last – Etta James

I Can’t Help Falling in Love – Elvis Presley

When A Man Loves A Woman – Percy Sledge

In My Life – The Beatles

    Everything – Lifehouse

Look At You Girl - Chris Ledoux

    Kissing You - Des Ree

    I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing - Aerosmith

    Recessional:

The Long & Winding Road – The Beatles

I Got You – James Brown

How Sweet It Is – James Taylor

Then He Kissed Me – The Crystals

I Got You Babe – Sonny & Cher

    Beautiful Day – U2

All You Need Is Love – The Beatles

Can’t Take My Eyes Off You – Frankie Vali

    I’m A Believer – Smashmouth

Crazy Little Thing Called Love – Queen

Walking on Sunshine - Katrina & The Waves

This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) - Natalie Cole

I think that the songs you have choosen are just fine. I really like the Adam Sandler song. It's very cute!

  2. Since you like Adam Sandler, check out the soundtrack from 50 First Dates. Not sure if nay of his tracks are on there, but it is good beachy love music, and not just the typical wedding songs (the remake of Somewhere Over the Rainbow is GREAT - not sure who does it)
