Need help with weight loss - 10PTS FOR BEST ANSWER?

I'm looking to lose 13-18lbs; about 2lbs/week.

Short term, I want to lose 8lbs BY October 17th. HELP!

I'm 168lbs and gained 30lbs in about 5 months, so I want to get this off.

Can somebody help me come up with a workout routine (simple and not too intense) for a female to lose this

Any advice/motivation or something would be great.

10lbs down, 13-18 to go!

  1. The best answer is to give up them foods you like to eat to start with. Get with a nutritionist, Women have  different needs then men so I can&#039;t comet on that to much, Circut training every day or every other day for 15-25 minutes. Then try to do cardio workouts on your off days or mix em toghether.  


  2. I think you can loose 2 pounds per week. But why is it so vital to loose 8 pounds by October 17th? That makes no sense.

    The bottom line is exercise and healthy eating are the only way to make it work. The other poster is right, dieting doesn&#039;t work over the long term. So establish a healthy diet that is balanced. Avoid simple carbs (white bread, non-whole-wheat pasta), and eat protein with every meal. Don&#039;t eat sweets or deserts.

    Exercise regularly. Walk or jog half an hour each day. I would also advise doing some strength training.

  3. Yes you can absolutely loose that much by your set date. In fact you can loose as much as 20lbs by then. Here&#039;s what you have to do, burn at least 500 calories/day or more and eat about 1400-1200 calories/day, and you&#039;d be set. I&#039;d suggest the best way to burn those calories is to go swimming. It acts on EVERY muscle on your body, it&#039;s the best workout there is for a female body.  

  4. i believe in weight watchers,they teach how to eat without dieting,Ive lost 70 lbs in 9 months and have kept it off for 2 years now i do yoga 3 times a week and about 4 hours of cardio a week.good luck.

  5. I did a 7 day detox and lost 5 pounds in a week! You need to drink lots of water though!

    I also go to curves and have lost a lot of weight there!

    2 tips...drink tons of water...no soda and eat fruits and veggies!!! EVERYDAY! That alone will help!
