  1. Yes you are correct

    Twenty-five ---------------------------------- 00/100

    OR

    Twently-five dollars ----------------------------00/100

    OR

    Twenty-five ---------------------------------------- no cents/100

    OR

    Twenty-five dollars ------------------------------------no cents/100

I have seen checks written all four ways and they are acceptable, however the first one is the most used but I would use the second option because it includes dollars....although it would appear to be twenty five dollars I have seen checks be manipulated and a twenty-five dollar check became twenty-five hundred dollars....also be sure to start writing the written dollar amount as far left as possible so that no one can come and fill in "extra" writing making your check for example one hundred twenty-five dollars...also do the same for the numerical portion!!

  2. Either put just Twenty five dollars and a line to the end or Twenty five dollars and no/xx. Or yours looks fine too.

  3. Twenty-five dollars -------------------------- 00/100

  4. Twenty Five

  5. You are correct.

Enter the date in the top right hand corner in the necessary format.

The top line should say "pay to the order of  John Doe"

write the name of the person or company.

There's a little area on the right hand side that says $___25.00____

write the dollar amount in numbers

On the second long line ____Twenty five _____ then put "00" or "zero" over the "100 dollars" section since there are no cents payable.

write out the dollar amount in actual words

    Sign the cheque.
