had blonde and brown chunks threwout my hair.I wanted it all back to brown.I do not no much about hair dying so I went to one of those stores that sells dye and offers profeshinal advice.

I was given a dye etc and given insturctions on what to do.

I went home and did exactly what I was told and eveything was fine. The following day my hair were the blonde had been had started to go a greeny colour. So on my work break I went and spoke to a lady at the same store but a diffrent location as there franchises. She said that I should have been told to use other products to cover the blonde first and she said the lady was at fault for not telling me alot of information that she should have.she said to go back to the store so they would fix it.

  1. When writing a complaint letter it is important to be clear about the situation, what happened and when. You have demonstrated this in your description. If you still have the original receipt send a copy of that as well. I like to have someone who doesn't yet know the situation to read the letter to ensure it makes sense and that your message is clear.

You should also make your letter as professional as possible, make it clear that you KNOW you were treated badly as customer and that you do not think their customer service was acceptable at all.

It is also good to not make it a "slag match" be polite, but cold in your letter. Any company knows that the customer is always right. Include contact details on the letter so the situation can be rectified or you can be given a refund. I would also mention that you were disatisfied enough not to want to return to the store, and manager knows, a client lost is 100 lost.

I hope your letter goes well and that your hair is ok!

  2. You need to be polite.

Explain briefly what happened. ... You went there for advice, you followed this, it went wrong, so you went back, you were told the information you had recieved was incorrect, you went back to the store you purchased it from, you explained teh problem, you were mocked etc - include any dates/times.

Explain why you are upset about this.

Once you have written it use a spell and grammar check, and if possible get somebody to read it to check it makes sense.

Make sure you have written it in paragraphs.

    Lay it out neatly ...

                                                            Your address [right justified]

                                                               date [right justified]

    their address [left justified]

             dear sir / madam ,

    paragraph

    paragraph

    paragraph

Yours sincerely [if you know who its to] OR yours faithfully [if you have written sir/madam]

                           your name

    good luck
