Need help wth my PSP?

How long is the warrenty on the PSP Slim? I'm wondering because I got one for a gift, But it's faulty, It has a big chip in it( which I did'nt do) And it makes a horrible clicking noise when a game loads.. and uually doesent even load? Will thye re pace it for me free?

yes in a manual it says it has a one year warranty just call and tell them so you can know where to send it. Im preety sure its free to replace it

hey man I have a regular PSP and I believe Sony has a 30 day warranty policy.  So this means if this thing has a chip in it and is not working properly, call Sony and tell them this right away so they have this on record.  Because if it was a faulty one from the factory they should replace it for you for no cost.  Good luck man
