Need help!?CD rom drive!?

Question

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop. For some reason, a little while ago(2 months or something like that)i felt like playing Sims 2 pets. When i put the CD in the drive, for some reason, it wasnt reading the CD. So i tried another different CD. It didnt read that one either. Then, a while later, the sims CD was working again. But now it isnt...AGAIN! It just wont read any of the CDs! Any help please?!

Laser led or the CD is dirty, get a strong air blower, blow the dust off.

Try cleaning the laser.

Since the CD-ROM drive seems to work sometimes, but not other times, you know at least that you have the right drivers.
