  1. Don't even bother going to the doc yet... just take a test.  they're like 97% accurate and even the cheap off brands are good.  When I was prego I spent like $3 at Walmart for a cheap test and low and behold! Plus if your sleeping alot more that's probably a sign..obviously lol

  2. It's probably all out of wack b/c you messed with it, but I hope that you used condoms while you were off the pill.... if you didn't then chances are you are pregnant..... best way to know is take a home test and hope for the best.

    Good luck

  3. Oh you poor girl!!!

Go to a free clinic or get a test over the counter.... oh, you might be pregnant, or you might not be.  Since your hormones are effected by the pill, not taking for a full month can change your menstrual cycle, plus if you are really worried or eating badly theat could stop your perioud as well.

  4. take a pregnancy test

  5. It may just be from missing the pill or you may be pregnant.

The only way to know for sure is to buy a home pregnancy test or go to the doctor for a test.

If you aren't pregnant get on the pill again as soon as your period starts again.

  6. well, 'we're playing with fire'here. first question, why did you not take them for the entire month of june(assuming you were having intercourse..if you weren't no problem!)..sometimes taking a few mnths. break from the pill(and using 2 other methods), is helpful, in reminding your brain/body, that it still needs to work when you decide to have children..Ideally, ( i thought there were 24 hour drug stores?).. you would have started immediately after memorial day. i wonder if subconsciously you a/wanted to get pregnant b/just couldn't afford it. c/didn't want to have s*x so you had a good excuse not to or d/ you were just irresponsible, blocked it out, and hoped for the best. however, today is now, go to the drug store, and get that latest pregnancy test that  can tell you within days, and let go of your anxiety.  Or wait and find out..being on the pill 2 years is in your favour as it accumlates to some extent, and it might just take a few months for your entire reproductive tract to return to normal.  Are you b*****s swollen, feel tired or nauseated in the moroning, etc., do you 'feel like your pregnant'?

i hope for your sake that your not, and it will imprint into your brain how important it is..if you can't trust yourself with this method use an iud, and  discuss it with your dr.and partner.

I am being overly harsh with you, because i got pregnant, at 18, after knowing a guy 5 months, breaking up with him, changing my mind, and having s*x just the 1 time. i felt too young to be a mother, i let my parents and boyfriend decide..this led to marriage, another baby, the car the house and one h**l of a lot of resentment and frustraation inside me, that i wasn't in love, that i waited on the  3 of them for 5 years, and all i wanted to do was party(after getting rid of 60 pounds twice!)..but i knew 3 days late that i was. That single decision changed my life forever..the boys are now grown up and i have 2 grandchildren, none of whom want to speak to me since i became disabled 18 years ago.  my heart has been broken, and now at 54 am completely alone. 1 darn condom, etc. my life would have taken an entirely different route, i would probably have fallen in love, been grown up enough to want to have children, and having fun knitting and playing with my grandchildren..sorry for the extra stuff..

I just want you to really take this seriously..when we're young we feel infallible, and i am not just talking about you..you made a mistake, we're human, we make mistakes, and then learn from them. i may be way off..you may not be a teenager, and you may want a child, but not totally sure when...Big hugs kiddo, i am sure you didn't expect such an intense answer, but it's not just about am i pregnant, it's about being a parent for the rest of your life!..and are you really ready for that. please email @ pinkrainbow2004@yahoo.ca if you want to chat. i am an obstetrical nurse, and i am really conscerned about you, and would love to hear how things turn out.  i wouldn't be at all surprised if you get your period in the next few days, anxiety can delay your period as well!

    best of luck,

    hugs

Whatever the reason, today is today..go to the pharmacy, and ask about the new pregnancy test that can tell this early if you are pregnant.  On your side, is the fact that you have been on the pill, and it would probably take a few months for your ovaries and reproductive system to normalize, as there would be some accumulation..

  7. I'm not an experienced gynocologist, but I'll take a d**n good look at it for you  ;o)

Just kidding.  It's simple hun, get a pregnancy test, they're cheap and accurate.  Just find out then you can stop worrying or buy a buggy.

  8. take a look

  9. You don't say if you had unprotected s*x?  I am guessing you did?  If you have been on the pill 2 years, usually the month you stop taking it, you don't get instantly pregnant, BUT it is probably possible.  If in doubt you should have used condoms then.  If you think you could be pregnant, then take a home test!  AND, just because you couldn't get the pills during Memorial Day weekend, WHY didn't you just start taking them as soon as you can - like the next week.  Again I would have insisted on using condoms as well.  Good luck!

  10. so you should probably take an ept test. go buy one at the drugstore. they aren't that expensive. all you gotta do is pee on a stick and then you'll know.

  11. If you had s*x, it's possible. This time though, it's a little more likley.

  12. pregnancy test!

  13. You are more than likly not. When you stop taking the pill your body has to get back in a natural order. I would play it safe for the next few months when you have s*x though and use a condom as well (as you should always do) Take your pills as soon as you get them now. You can always double up on them if it was only a day or two or week at most missed. Do that to stay on the same monthly time...

  14. That's what an ept test is for. Or whoever prescribed you the pill can get you tested in their office asap. Please ask them!

  15. take quick action about it

  16. doctor??

    or a pregancy test???

  17. ummmmm..................................... YAHOO ANSWERS!!!!

  18. i dont think so. take a home pregnancy test if your not sure.

  19. go too walmart and get one of those pregnency tests

  20. Only one way to find out...Take a pregnancy test!!!!

  21. best thing to do is see a nurse or doc and take in the packet of pills you have and the dates of your periods and have a test done there and then. good luck x dont worry :)

  22. u have a chance of bein preggo take an ept thats what they are for if u take one and it says you are then u take another one and it says u arent or its the other way around go to your doctor that gave u the pill they can test u to see if u are

  23. It could very well be a side effect from the pill, the pill has hormones that usually regulate your period and not taking it for a month could have thrown you off you normal schedule. The question is did you use other protection during that month? If not... go to you doctor a get a proper check-up, BEFORE YOU CONTINUE TO TAKE THE PILL. If you are pregnant it could have bad effects on your baby.

  24. It could be either or.. By missing your pills, you did mess up your cycle. I have found that when I do that, my period usually comes a lot earlier than normal, not later though..

Only a test (or time) will tell.. It's definitely worth checking out!

  25. There's a chance you might not be, because when you stop the pill it takes your body sometime to get back to normal. (hormones) If you don't start by the 1st of July I would buy a pregnancy test. Then you should know for sure.

  26. Congratulations on you being pregnant.
