how do you use ebay because i always wanted to know

I have used Ebay and have over 500 items sold with a 100% rating. However, the downside is the cost of mailing the item and also the cost from Ebay and PayPal. Sometimes I felt like I was just making money for all three of them and nothing was left for me. I use Craigslist now and sell locally. It's free and there is no shipping.

I use eBay for buying mostly, every now and then I will sell something.

eBay is an auction site where you can sell, or buy by bidding on auctions and purchasing things for most likely cheaper than retail. You can by new and used of almost anything.

what are you using it for? buying stuff or selling stuff? its pretty easy to use if you're buying stuff just look and research products ask sellers questions about the item if it's a good one bid on it or buy it now. if selling describe your item very well you can set a buy it now price to what you would want for it and select a price for the lowest bid you can add a reserve price for the bid to get a high enough price that you would accept before it sells if it doesn't' reach that it wont sell. just look at some faqs and help section on the site itself.

If you see an item you like you bid on it, if there is a lot of interest in that item you will have to outbid everyone else within a certain time limit.
