  1. What kind of disabilities do they have?  I've got a whole week of lesson plans if you're interested....

  2. get a blue piece of paper-

cover teh bottom half with glue

    spread sand over the glue

get cotton balls--glue onto the top for clouds

  3. -Paint with sand mixed in-it dries with a great texture...feels nice on their hands too if they are hand/finger painting...eg-mix in yellow paint to make a sandy beach.

-Textures----make evrything tactile...eg: have a beach mat on the floor...low wall display with fishing net not sharp one just like a ball net, with shiny fish, bucket and spade etc.

-Make their own fish with materials then add paper clip-attach magnet to  a pole and children can fish...or make crabs like crab fishing you often see at the beach.

-low level tray with thin layer of sand and glue---children used fingers, twigs etc to make marksin the sand...then push paper down...when you lift it up the picture will stick on the paper.
