Need ideas for graduation dessert for 400 people?

This party is outside in Arizona, in May!!!

The theme is Go Eagles! We were thinking of cake, but wanted to tyr something different!!

You could do cookies from each country - Mexican wedding cookies, Italian cookies or cannolis and Chinese fortune cookies.

i think cupcakes.

i just tried to buy a cake for a bridal shower and it was going to be a little over 60 dollars for a full sheet cake. 40 cupcakes cost me 40 bucks. and that is with decor and all.

cupcakes are easy, no cutting or icing everywhere. just pick them up and go. you can put different toppings on them (m&ms, starburst, chocolate covered pretzels, snickers) and make them really tasty while still being cost effective.

other than cupcakes it might be good to do those soft sugar cookies with the icing on them ( you could use the same ideas for the cupcakes as the cookies)

We are doing a huge cupcake tower for my sisters graduation - easy for guests to pick up and eat.  You could offer them in chocolate or white cake and ice them with the school colors.  They are also significantly cheaper than doing a cake for that many people.  You could do smaller towers on each table to make it even easier to serve.

400 people? I hope you are having this catered.

Cake is alwasy good and easy. Will the event be inside or outside? That would make a huge difference in your options.

Are you having a theme for the party?  My son's graduation party was a casino party theme.
