  1. Stay in touch with her neighbors and who she is close to. If you suspect domestic violence you can report it to law enforcement. They will make an arrest if she is being battered by her husband .

  2. Go to the police and see what your options are

also go talk to someone who works at a womens refuge and see what advice and support they can give you (they will have delt with stuff like this all the time)

  3. You need to get your family and all together go over your options. And

then go to the Police. With the family there to back you up the cops

will listen. Keep Hoping and my best to you and your cousin.

  4. there are some women folks who never have enough & tolerate beyond the normal & it's difficult 2 understand.

However be patient & calm...try to figure out what is motivating her to undergo this. Is it black mail / Fear/Love / mentally distroyed as not to be able to decison or take help.

If she is really battered & bruised, U could immediately take her & admit in hospital care & also report the matter to the police for security & consult a lawyer.

  5. you cant help/save some one who dont to be helped/saved.. Its sad but true

  6. be there for her and try to get her to leave him she needs to get a restraining order out against him if he comes near her she can call the police and have him arrested get her away from him asap as he will kill her and he needs to be reported asap as well or given a good hiding himself see how he likes it

  7. well if she dosent want to leave him theres not much you can do

just keep in touch and make sure shes always fine

and try to talk her off that man

if shes afraid of the guy call the police and get a restraining order

    i wish you guys luck

  8. im only 16, so this might not be too good but what i would do personally is to go tell the police, or someone else, but ask them to keep you anonymous.  that way they can handle it, and nobody will know that you told them about it, and your cousin will be safe.  but the one thing you cannot do is to let her stay with him.  hope i helped.

  9. Hi,  You might call your local social services agency and ask for the closest women's shelter in your area, and get your cousin to go there.  Once there, he will not be able to see or harm her.  She should probably then get a protection order against him, they should have counseling at the shelter to advise her on what to do - and how to do it.

She may be living in fear of leaving him, if he has really threatened her.  Fear is sometimes very powerful - and that may be keeping her there.  If he is already beating up on her, as it sounds, he is not only a violent person but dangerous as well.

I hope your cousin makes it okay...

Best of Luck to you and your cousin :-)

    Paul.

  10. You need to call the police. I used to work for the prosecutor's office in the domestic violence unit. This happens all the time with women that are abused. They get so scared to leave because they are afraid of what might happen to them. Then if they get asked about it, they start making up excuses and defending him. It's really sad, but the only thing that you can do at this point is contact the police before it's too late. I wish you both a lot of luck.
