Hi,

Are there any foreigners who are living/working (or in past) in Bruchsal, Germany.

I need some info on this town.

How is the social scene, night life, the people, etc?

How is the IU? (international university of Germany). Its a pretty new uni (formed 1998), so there's not too much info on the Internet about its ranking, world-wide recognization, etc. The same thing about the town. It seems that very few people have even heard of it.

I'd like some feedback from anyone who has information about the town and university. Thanks in advance.

  1. Younger people (below age of 50) are able to communicate in the English language since most of them have learned it at school for more than six years.

However, if you go to some small villages, which inhabitants are old ager's, you might be lost without some german basics.

  2. I don't live too far from Bruchsal but as it's a small and quiet town we don't hear much about it. But the area..the 'Kraichgau'...is really nice and Heidelberg, Karlsruhe and Mannheim are near.
