  1. Each Bose speaker in your Audi has it's own amp. Whatever the power is, Bose systems usually use 1 or 2 ohms instead of the 4 or 8 ohms used by every other speaker on the market. Not only that, but every component is custom matched to your car. There is no plug-and-play with Bose.

    You have 3 choices;

    1. Have the system rebuilt, from $350.00+freight and up.

    2. Remove the system, sell it on eBay, and Install a new system. I replaced mine with ;A Kenwood Excelon head unit with AM, FM, CD, USB and Mp3 and 6 Memphis Audio speakers of various sizes. This ran just less than $600 installed. I am very happy with the sound, especially the clarity. If I want to "upgrade" with  another couple of 12" subs and a 1,000 watt amp, I could, but I'm more interested in clarity than bass and I have enough volume to make me deaf:^)

    3. Enjoy what you have and buy speed parts or more gas.
