Need info on a Dracaena Plant

Question

I got a Dracaena Plant from my Granny's funeral. The base has a spider looking plant growing around it. Is this an indoor plant? Also, is it poisonous to children or animals?

It is an indoor plant. Water about once a week and give it bright indirect light. Not sure what the spider looking plant may be unless it is the spider plant?? here is a web site with pictures and directions just in case it is.

Yes, dracaena is an indoor or patio plant. I have never heard that they are poisonous.
