Need info on getting from Munich Germany to Lugano Switzerland?

I will give you the guidelines very roughly assuming you go by car? You go south from Munich towards the Bodensee, you cross at Meersburg with a ferry towards Konstance and proceed towards Zurich you cross Zurich southwards (Altdrof, Andrematt) till Lugano. If you do not travel by car but by train go into the DB (Deutche Bahn) site English page and you can find out the time, price and date you want to go there.

If you would like to travel by train, you can look at the following Web (Official Web of the German Rail, also available in english) :

In Munich (München in german) there are many stations. You should start from "Muenchen Hauptbahnhof" (something like Munich central station). In Lugano there are many stations too. The booking system of the German Rail will ask you  which one you would like to get and gives you a list of all of them. You should see which one of all is the best one for you.

I'm pretty sure mapquest has an international section to it.  The other place you most definatley can find out is on google earth.

Need to check www.bahn.de, you can put it there the date, route and you see the train connections with time and price. Munich and Lugano its such a nice place....
