like did they have daycare or preschool and are there any nursery rhymes they sung in the 400-1400 AD

Back then, schools were only for the rich, and only for boys. Usually, instead of children going to school, a teacher would come and live with the family and teach the student one on one every day. There were no preschools, and few learned to read or write. Everything they learned came mostly from their parents or perhaps a local monastery or clergyman. Family members cared for the children, or a nanny, but it wasn't like daycare. People who couldn't afford to tutor just didn't have one.
